A: Mark's Menus is a website devoted to individual dishes - not just restaurants. We invite you to join the discussion about the different menu items, use the site to compare menus at restaurants, and participate in entering in your favorite local eatery, whether it be the greasy spoon on the corner or your favorite date spot. Tell us about it - others want to know!
A: No, but you sure can! Simply click the "Edit this Page" link at the top of the screen and you can add your favorite menu item.
A: Click the "Add a new restaurant" button and you can enter it yourself!
A: Not because of us! We are not in the business of selling email addresses and we will NOT spam your inbox.
A: Your menu is listed on our site because your customers enjoyed their experience at your restaurant so much that they took the time to add your menu to our site and write a few comments about their meal. Feel free to join in the discussion or take ownership of your menu outright.
A: Anyone who owns or manages a restaurant is welcome to sign up to be an Official Restaurateur in the system.
A: Yes, to become an official restaurateur there is a monthly charge of $30.00.
A: As an Official Restaurateur, you are able to manage your menu in the system and control who is able to edit your menu. In the future you will also be able to publish menus across the web, create PDFs of your menus, and interact with users who comment on your restaurant and menus.
A: When you become an Official Restaurateur a new dashboard will be added to your profile page. Simply click on the "edit menus" button to make changes to your restaurant's menus and details or on the "manage users" button to select who is able to change your menus.
A: From the Restaurateur Dashboard on your profile page, click the "manage users" button and select the "changes can only be made by me (username)" option. Alternatively, you can select individual users with the ability to alter the menus by selecting the "Selected users may make changes" option. Then you add users to the left hand column by clicking on a name and choosing the left arrow button (<<<). You can remove users' ability to alter menus by clicking on their name in the right column and choosing the right arrow button (>>>).
A: Yes. There are no contracts to sign and you may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your restaurant and menu information will still be on the site and will revert back to being managed by the MarksMenus community. To cancel your subscription, you may contact us or cancel directly by following these steps:
- Login into your PayPal account
- Choose the "view details" link from your payment's transaction details
- There will be a "cancel" link provided on the Recurring Payment page
