Rib Tips: These are messy, but well worth it. They are not always available, but when they are, it's worth a try. The tips are flavorful, sometimes chewy, and plentiful. An order is really too much. If you don't want to deal with the fuss of separating the tips, take a pass. But, otherwise, these are delicious treats.

Ribs (Slab) : The Central BBQ ribs are tender and tasty. These are the best ribs in the city. I will brook no argument to the contrary.

Hot Wings: Get the dry rub wings. They are delicious and unlike the gazillion other wings you have tried.

Italian Dip: A delicious combination of flavors. The dip adds the perfect accent to this fine sandwich.

House Smoked Turkey Breast: This is a simply amazing sandwich. They smoke the turkey on site, and the combination of flavors is fantastic. This is not just a turkey sandwich. This is THE turkey sandwich. You will not find better.

Republic Coffee: Friendly folks, great coffee, and supportive of community gatherings. This is a great place to meet with friends, enjoy an excellent cup of coffee, or have a really good meal.

Central BBQ (Midtown): In a city in which barbecue is king, Central BBQ rules the roost. If you can only make it to one BBQ place in Memphis, make it Central.

Frank's South Main Market & Deli: Go here now and get one of this planet's finest sandwiches. You may think I am employing hyperbole. You would be mistaken.
