Restaurant recommendations by this user:

Frank's South Main Market & Deli: While other shops are trying to make complicated fancy supermeaty-8 cheese-jalepeno-mexi-melti-garden-snack-wraps, Frank's is busy making the PERFECT turkey sandwich. And Frank's wins. Everything else they make is really good too. Really.

Republic Coffee: The food is reliably good. The coffee is great. The baristas in the evenings will make up new drinks by request. As proved by the tag on the register, Republic is Memphis Knit Mafia approved.

Suzy Wong's House of Yum: I love this place! The asian nachos are one of the most original meals I have ever had. The servers are a hoot. I will go there every time I go to Nashville. We got the place to ourselves for lunch, but I hear you need reservations for dinner. Also get the house lemongrass tea.

Copper Kettle: A great cafeteria style restaurant. Far enough off the path to not be touristy. Solid good food and I love the old fashioned building.

Noshville: Get the pancakes. Avoid the coffee. I can't stress this enough. Trust me on both.

Dish recommendations by this user:

Costa Mesa: By far my favorite dish on the brunch menu. Spec-freakin-tacular.

Friday - Seafood or Fish: If they have the fried catfish, get it. Wonderful fresh filets, not too breaded, but just enough crisp.

Turnip Greens: Perfect in every way. Ideal. No matter what you think of greens, give these a chance.

Silver Dollar Potato Cakes: A very southern feeling version of latkes. Lovely.

Griddle Cakes: May be the best pancakes I have ever had. They are light and fluffy, with the slightest crisps around the edges. They are massive, but you will try very hard to eat all of them. They were so good, I stopped caring about how terrible the coffee was.
